What is Vebra?

Vebra provide custom software to enable Estate Agents and Letting Agencies to list their properties on the popular Rightmove website. Vebra offers its customers an API to allow property details to be imported into other systems, such as a website. In simple terms - Vebra customers can list all their properties within their website with our help

Why use Vebra?

The Vebra API allows Estate Agents to integrate their property database into a website, by importing their data feed on a regular basis. The features include:

  • Property Details
  • Images - general and per room
  • Per room details
  • Status - for sale, on offer, sold
  • 360° Tours
  • Energy Efficiency Information

By using the API, Estate Agency sites can list properties in a similar manner to Rightmove - search by postcode or area, show maps, download particulars as PDF files and view further information about properties. Using the API, and also the Google Maps API, a full-scale property map can be displayed showing all property in a certain area or town on a map.

Our experience with Vebra

We have integrated many sites with Rightmove and Vebra over the years and have the experience at integrating with V.4 and V.5 of their Portal product, XML feed and general API functions. We can integrate into current websites, new websites or Wordpress developments.

Examples of what we can do with Estate Agency websites

Vebra Integration

The client will use the Vebra Portal feed, which allows the website FTP access to a database feed and image bank provided by Vebra. The preferred version is version 5, but we can also integrate with version 4.

Every 12 hours a cron job will run, which will automatically do the following:

  • Import the property data (both sales and rental) and save to local database
  • Delete any properties no longer on the feed
  • Download images from Vebra per property and save locally
  • Branch details
  • Data housekeeping

This is a silent process, neither the client nor user will be aware this is happening.

Property Search

Depending on the client’s requirements, the following fields will be used for property search. They will be dynamically populated where ever possible i.e. list of towns.

  • Buy or Rent
  • Town
  • Min/Max Value/Rent
  • Min/Max Bedrooms

Results will be listed in a standard order (usually price max to min) with pagination on more than one page. Each property usually has basic information – price, thumbnail, address, summary which is drawn from the Vebra data.

Pointers can also be shown on a map, either with the results or as a separate page. Custom markers and bubbles can be used to show properties and their types.

Property Listing

Properties details are also supplied from Vebra and read from the local database. There are numerous fields brought through from Vebra which can be used at the designer’s discretion to show information about a property.

A usual mix of features are:

  • Price
  • Address
  • Bullet Points
  • Description
  • Room Details
  • Map of Property
  • EPC Data
  • Image Gallery
  • Make Contact (Enquiry Form or branch details)

There is flexibility in the integration to allow a level of customisation on request.
