After 13 years in the industry we at Colin Harris Website Development have even begun to dream in code. Over the years we have become experts in the industry and have gained invaluable skills which we utilise when designing and developing your website.

Here are a few of the core technical skills we employ on a daily basis:

• PHP - This is a programming language used to code websites
  
• MySQL - Is a database which is used to store and return information
  
• jQuery - Is a code/technique hybrid which allows interactive tasks to be performed within a web browser
  
• HTML and CSS - are 'front end' code and mark up which ultimately style the site

We utilise these skills to create an interactive dynamic website, tailored to your needs. We are happy to guide you through the process, with or without the technical jargon!

Open Source

We have also built projects using open source software such as Wordpress, Codeigniter, Magento and Drupal. We can create and maintain sites using these tools, or help develop custom plug-ins for when one isn't available.
