Thriving on creating clever, interesting websites is a healthy way of making a living. Drawing on 10 years commercial experience we have managed many website development projects from small site build to 150-day super structures.
The tools of the trade
PHP is a programming language used to code websites. MySQL is a database which is used to store and return information. jQuery is a code/techinque hybrid which allows interactive tasks to be performed inside a web browser. HTML and CSS are 'front end' code and markup languages which style a site.
We use these skills on a daily basis to create and develop websites for our many clients.
The method in the madness
Proficiency in these languages is one thing - the skill is in combining them to create dynamic, interactive websites. Each has its own rules - you learn the law - and then choose the best each has to offer to programme websites to work best, be fresh and appeal to users.
I'm lost in all these acronymns and buzzwords
We're not surprised - the web is technology and techology is perfect for 'buzzword bingo'. Most of these pages in our site are aimed at people who know what they are looking for - someone to assist with a specific requirement. If you have an idea what you want - a new website, changes to an existing one or just have a great idea, then you don't need to know the difference between an API and PHP - that's our job.
Taking it further
Please have a good browse around our site - there are samples of our work in our portfolio section, more about our CMS and Integration skills and plenty about us. On the right are links to pages which explain in more detail about what we can do and how we do it. Finally, please use our contact page for information about how to get in touch with me.
