Postcode Anywhere: Overview

Postcode Anywhere provides a number of services via its API. Primary is the service to look up postcodes and validate addresses. They also provide tools for customer profiling based on their address, validate bank accounts and whether they accept Direct Debits and address cleansing.

API Description

Postcode Anywhere uses its own bespoke systems to provide the following:

• Look-up UK Postcodes (pop-up windows)
• Validate bank account details
• Confirm if accounts can receive Direct Debits
• Mosaic-style customer profiling
• Mapping and Directions

Postcode lookups are especially of interest to owners of E-Commerce websites, where a customer's postcode and address can be validated by Postcode Anywhere before an order is completed, thus avoiding issues with incorrect delivery data.
