Multicom: Overview

FindandBook is a XML-based API which provides travel agents with real time access to many holiday and flight suppliers, all via one interface. The API enables agency websites to search through many databases and return package and flight information to users.

API Description

The API uses secure XML to allow a travel agent's website to:

• Search for flights or packages
• Hotel only searches
• Return details about destinations and resorts (including images)
• Book on behalf of the customers
• Provide add-ons such as Car Hire, Insurance and Upgrades
• Create custom ternaries to allow users to build their own packages
• Take payments

At the time of writing, Multicom provide both a Test and a Live service which can be used when creating integration projects using the FindandBook system. It provides a service to allow holiday companies services similar to the popular Expedia website.
