7Digital are a leading online retailer of digital music to purchase and download MP3 files. Their current catalogue has in excess of 10 million tracks. They offer an API to allow any website to effectively offer MP3 downloads, tracks and albums to customers and use their functionality such as search and chart listings.

API Description

The 7Digital API has two levels. The public API integrates with sites to allow websites to offer:

• Search for tracks or albums
• Download and display album art and track details
• Charts
• Genres and Playlists
• Links to purchase music from 7Digital
  

The private API offers enhanced functionality, such as:

• Purchase music
• Access customers "Digital Locker"
• Direct downloads of tracks and albums
• Ability to set their own pricing structure
