Colin Harris - Owner

Colin is the owner of Colin Harris Website Development. He is a professional website developer working primarily in website design and development and systems using PHP, MySQL, jQuery, LAMP, xHTML, CSS and other languages and codes. Typical projects are CMS, Portals, E-Commerce Shopping Sites and Large-scale Custom and Bespoke Systems.

His work also involves Systems Integration using SOAP and API, and development projects using Open Source software such as Wordpress, OsCommerce, Magento and Drupal. Additionally, projects involving SEO, PPC, Social Media, PSD to HTML, FFmpeg and Digital Marketing. We host websites on our own servers and manage clients website servers.

Prior to management Colin has been an freelance website programmer from January 2006 to December 2010. Before this he worked at various regional digital agencies from 1999 to 2005, as technical development manager, lead php developer or in digital marketing. His previous employers include Department for Education and Employment, thecreativecake.com and Ebac Group LTD and he worked on projects for clients such as One North East, Sunderland Housing, Ann Summers and NCFE.

Outside of work, Colin is Chairman of Amble Business Club, and a Parent Governor at Amble First School.

John Brown - Website Designer

John is our website designer who started dabbling with web design back in 1999. John specializes in all design and branding projects. His main tools are Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Flash he also has good knowledge of 3D software.

John has worked around the North East and Northumberland area for a number of years working in the digital media sector as a web and graphic designer since graduating from Sunderland University with a BSc in Interactive Multimedia in 2006.

Steven Ions - Senior Website Developer

Steven joined the team in September 2011 as website developer. Steven joins from Newcastle-based agency Fat Frog. He has a great deal of experience in developing for and working with Content Management Systems (CMS). He also has experience of Drupal, PSD->HTML and other skills. Steven is a big fan of Newcastle United Footbal Club.

Augusto Principe - Website Developer

Augusto joined our staff in May 2012 as a website developer and systems specialist. He comes with 7 years experience of software management, IT infrastructure development and systems integration. He has no fewer than 4 IT-related qualifications including Cisco Certification. Augusto is a recent settler to these parts, having moved from Spain this year. In his spare time he enjoys a variety of sports, competitive dancing and the cinema.

Lisa Harris - Office Manager

Lisa is the company's office manager - her main role is organise and administer the day-to-day jobs here at our office in Amble. Lisa is in charge of organising our print work, event attendance and client relationship management. Lisa joins after working for a number of years with a Newcastle charity enabling people with learning difficulties.

Based in Amble, Northumberland

We work from an office on the main street in Amble - Queen Street. Amble is a small town on the Northumberland Coast. It is approximately 25 miles north of Newcastle. The nearest large town to Amble is Morpeth, about 10 miles South West of Amble, and Alnwick 8 miles to the North. Amble is a popular tourist destination, known for it's beaches, port, fishing and hospitality. It also has the finest Fish and Chips in the country. Amble is well served by local roads, with easy access from the A1, A1086 and via the A189 and the A19.

We work with clients of all sizes both in the North East region (Newcastle, Northumberland, Durham, Darlington) and throughout the UK.
